Studio Jewelry
I am a graduate of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, with a Masters of Fine Art in Sculpture. I also have a Bachelors of Fine Art degree from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst in Printmaking.
As a jeweler, my aesthetic sway comes from mid-century modern design, craft, and architecture. I appreciate both the simplicity and the functionality of this design philosophy and naturally reflect on it when designing my own work. My individual approach to fabrication and design give the jewelry its unique quality, as do the visual influences I find in some of the natural sciences such as astronomy and botany.
Today my studio and home are in Los Angeles. I exhibit regularly at Fine Art and Crafts shows as well as in galleries of contemporary jewelry and craft.
